Per le dimensioni standard è sufficiente una tavola di legno multistrato (compensato) dello spessore di 1cm. Sul retro si possono attaccare volendo due stecche (sempre di multistrato) su cui poi applicare i ganci per appendere il quadro. In questo modo, una volta appeso il quadro, i ganci non si vedranno e il pannello sarà leggermente distanziato dalla parete. La colla che che si utilizza di solito è colla in polvere per carta da parati, da preparare con acqua. Per la finitura (lucida o satinata) è possibile una qualsiasi lacca trasparente (di quelle di solito usate per il decoupage) o anche la colla stessa.

For the standard size you can buy a wooden board (plywood) 1 cm thick. On the back you can screw two wooden planking in order to put hangs on them. In this way, once hanged the picture to the wall, you won't see the hangs.  For the glue, you can utilize the powder glue for wallpapers to be mixed with water.  In the end it is advisible to protect the print with a transparent lack (glossy or matt) or simply with the glue.
